Teaching Children about Missions
Are you looking for a fun and creative way to help make your children aware of the importance of overseas missions? Look no further than this missions awareness booklet created by Truth for Kids. This free, printable resource introduces children to topics such as the Great Commission, the role of a missionary, praying for missionaries, and how they too can be a missionary and start sharing the gospel right now where they live. You can access this resource here.
The concept of Christian missions overseas can be a difficult one to grasp for those who have never experienced life outside of their own country. It can be especially difficult for the youngest believers among us. Yet, missions is central to the heart of God. Indeed, the final commission of Jesus was to go and make disciples of all nations. This article provides five ways that parents and ministry leaders can begin to teach children about the missional heart of God. Access it here.
