Cadence International

Hospitality to Military Families
“We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.” 1 Thess. 2:8 is a core verse for Cadence International, a ministry reaching military families, children, and adults with the good news of Jesus Christ. Military families can struggle with building lasting relationships as they encounter a change of home every three years. Cadence’s ministry to these families reminds them that they are not alone nor forgotten by their brothers and sisters in Christ and most certainly, they are not forgotten by God. The Cadence staff hospitably opens their homes to share the gospel while enjoying community with these military families, through sharing meals, studying God’s word, and participating in conversations with one another. They also host weekly children and youth events such as AWANA, VBS, retreats, and Bible studies. As brothers and sisters in Christ, there are various ways in which you can learn about and support this ministry. To learn more about Cadence’s ministry, click here. Child evangelism fellowship

Global Discipleship
Since 1937, CEF’s goal has been to reach every child, every nation, every day, The ministry is accomplishing this mission by discipling and evangelizing children in backyard Bible clubs. The local connections are essential to the ministry. A Supreme Court ruling has given CEF the privilege to be a part of any school that allows for after-school programs. This legal provision has allowed for unique Bible teaching opportunities to take place in schools across the globe. In order to reach their diverse audience, CEF has resources that can be used in a variety of contexts and cultures. You can find a link to their teaching resources here. With these teaching resources, ministry leaders train youth to teach. With their resources, CEF is also an excellent partner to churches around the globe. Ministry leaders can partner with CEF’s ministry by utilizing their resources and connecting with a local CEF branch. God is doing a mighty work through CEF! Youth Haven

Reaching Children for Christ
Since 1968, Youth Haven has had the mission of providing life-changing, Christ-centered experiences for children with various disadvantages. Cited on the Youth Haven website, “This includes boys and girls living in foster care, single-parent families, or low-income homes, as well as children who have experienced abuse, neglect, gang violence, or even a parent in prison.” The goal of Youth Haven is to take care of the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of the boys and girls of disadvantaged backgrounds. This is a year-round ministry both on their campus’ and off by providing resources and communication with the children. Youth Haven is inspired by God’s call to serve children in Mark 9:37 “Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but him who sent me.” They do this by reaching children who are not reached by the local church. Taking Care of Children
One of the main focuses of the camp is safety. Youth Haven has put safety in the center of all the trainings they do with their staff and volunteers. From staff training to the facilities, every aspect of Youth Haven is intentionally created and maintained for the best possible experience for each of the children. There are rules set in place by the state and prior experience to provide the utmost care for everyone involved with the ministry. When it comes to ministry safety, there are ways that you can also manage risk well and offer protection from harm for all .
